Next, you'll arrive to a page that looks like the one below. First, download the HTML Verification File<\/strong> provided in Step 1. If you use Google Chrome as your web browser, it will appear in the download bar at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n 4. This is the trickiest part. Head over to cPanel and log-in (this is the page used to manage everything inside your site, and you access it through your hosting company). Search for the \"File Manager.\"<\/p>\n 5. Once you click this, a pop-up will appear requesting you to select the specific domain name you plan to modify. If you only have one site, this will be the only option. If you have multiple sites, click the one you want to work on at the moment (the one you told Webmaster Tools you would verify).<\/p>\n 6.
