Let's say I am promoting a recipe I have posted on my site. \u00a0The recipe is for homemade cookies. \u00a0I could use a Meta-Title simply with the word 'cookies.' \u00a0I also would be wasting my time, because a title that vague would certainly not generate many hits. \u00a0It is better to play around with multiple variations and singular and plural tenses when writing a Meta-Title. \u00a0For this example, a good Meta-Title would be 'Best Homemade Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Recipe, Easy Fast Baking Recipes, How To Bake Homemade Cookies.' \u00a0Notice that no words are repeated, as this would be considered spamming. \u00a0However, this title would be far more likely to generate hits than the title of 'cookies.' \u00a0When writing your Meta-Title, capitalize every word as shown in the example. \u00a0A search engine is nothing more than a robot, albeit a robot programmed to weed through millions of sites. \u00a0This is why using various synonyms and tenses in your wording will increase the chances of your page ranking higher in search results. \u00a0Think like a customer when creating a Meta-Title, and choose your wording accordingly for the best SEO.<\/p>\n
It is also important to use minimal punctuation when writing a Meta-Title. \u00a0It can take a little practice and creativity in addition to a\u00a0thesaurus\u00a0to create strong Meta-Titles the first few times. \u00a0However, once you get the hang of it, you should see your traffic increase significantly.<\/p>\n
