  • Blog Writing Using WordPress

wordpressBlogging is fun, creative exciting, and easy. But what is the best way to get started blogging? Well, first you need to have a defined interest to blog about. Something that you definitely have a passion for. The rest of the how-tos can be left to the software engineers who have made our lives so much easier over the years. One of these groups of engineers is the developers of WordPress. WordPress is a free online site that does an exceptional job for the function of creating a blog.

Here's how to write your blog using WordPress

First, to begin blog writing, go into your WordPress blog and go to the tab labeled "site admin." This will bring up user name/password boxes. Enter the user name and password that you created when you opened your WordPress account.
Next, go to "Write a New Post" once you are logged in. Then you have to put in the subject for your blog. WordPress software will automatically create a link for your blog using these keywords. What is essential here is that you make use of the keywords that you have established for your SEO search. For that reason, the subject of your blog has to be relevant to your niche, or usual topic for your blog. Therefore, if your niche on your blog is Dungeons and Dragons, but today you went on your first horseback riding excursion, and wanted to blog about it, the people searching for D&D blog material won't find it in an SEO search because none of your keywords in your subject match your established keywords, and none of the horseback writers won't find it because it is not keywords in your SEO keyword ranking.
One thing to pay particularly close attention to is to make sure the title comes up as a link. You can do this by going to the "common settings" tab, and set it to "day and name" or "month and name."

Now you are ready to blog

To start blogging, go to the area under the "Post" setting and go crazy, but remember your keywords. Enter other relevant keywords under "tags" section and separate each one with a comma. Then all that is left to do is click all the relevant categories that this particular blog covers, and click post.
If you think you may want to publish your post another day because, perhaps you had already posted one today, but were feeling the need to express yourself later in the day (the best reason to have a blog, by the way), or if you have written a really long blog and you know your followers won't want to read all of it in one setting, click "edit" next to the "publish immediately" tab. Then you can edit the time when you want to publish your blog.
